About the company

   Jo Ann Madeira Gann, owner and designer of JMG design.  She has been working in the field of residential building design for over twenty years and is well known throughout the Bay Area. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of traditional and contemporary design styles. 
   
    Jo Ann is a native of Lewistown, Montana. She first moved to Sacramento California in the late 70's to pursue her dreams of art. She received her degree from a small private women's University in Sacramento in Interior Design with an emphasis in Architecture. In 1980 Jo Ann moved further west to Menlo Park. She obtained a job at Scale Models Unlimited where her skills became a career. She became successful in creating new visions of elaborate  designs from just the structural drawings. 


   She's developed a love for Building Design and continues her studies in Green Residential Design. Being a member of AIBD, the American Institute of Building Design and achieving a certification as Green Professional through Build-It-Green has expanded her dreams further.  In addition, the certification cover for Green Home Retrofitting and Remodeling.


  Jo Anns achievements speak for themselves through her professional attitude and beautiful designs. Working in the Bay Area has proven great benefits for her and her clientele. Her reputation with city planners has continued to strengthen. This makes the process of permitting and submitting much more efficient. She has a continued love in creating the perfect plan for anyone that want a unique and priceless home.
